JCB 18Z has been designed to work in confined spaces. JCB 18Z tracks can be retracted from 1330 mm to 996 mm to allow the 18Z to pass though doorways.

JCB Zero tail swing design prevents potential damage to the counterweight when turning in confined space. JCB excavator bodywork is 100% steel (no plastic) to ensure long life and low-cost repairs. JCB undercarriage uses more steel for machine stability with a special self-cleaning design that allows low wear and maintenance in tough conditions. The JCB excavator uses special bushes that require greasing every 500 hours vs greasing standard bushes each day. JCB’s engine, cooling and hydraulics systems use the industries premium components and are proven to deliver best in class power, cost of ownership and comfort.

These powerful machines are often equipped with a JCB HM012T breaker, allowing safe work of breaking and demolition, HM012T gives 5 x the power of a handheld breaker and without operator exposure to HAVS. A full range of buckets and earth drills are also available to allow a wide range of landscaping, utilities, and construction work to be done.
